Information about us.

For over 40 years, I’ve been proud to call
Brockport home—and I’m dedicated to its
success.
I have had the honor of serving on
the Brockport Village Board for nine years,
the past two as Deputy Mayor. I played a
key role in securing the $4.5 million NY
Forward grant, which will enhance our
Village’s quality of life, support Main Street
businesses, and encourage development.
My extensive involvement in various Village
departments and committees has given me
deep insights into our community’s needs.

Dedication and hard work drive everything
I do for Brockport.
As President of the
Brockport Community Connection (BCC), I
work with our board to connect the
community to resources like the food pantry,
hygiene bank, clothing center, and warming
center. I also volunteer at the Welcome
Center and am active on the Canal
Celebration Planning Committee and in the
Lions Club. Professionally, I am a professor at
SUNY Brockport and advocate for educators
through the United University Professions
union, serving locally as Vice President for
Professional Staff and statewide as Regional
Membership Specialist. I also chair the
statewide Scholarship Development and
Veterans committees. I am committed to
building a Village where neighbors support
each other and the community thrives.

Brockport is my home, and I’m dedicated to
making it the best it can be.
In 2023, I received
the Monika Andrews Creative Volunteer
Leadership Award. I served on the Police
Reform Task Force to ensure fair policing
practices. As co-chair of the Walk! Bike!
Brockport! Committee, I work to improve our
Village’s infrastructure for safe walking and
biking. I founded a nonprofit makerspace to
promote creativity and learning. I also help
local businesses and nonprofits develop their
missions and strategies. As a professor at SUNY
Brockport, I mentor the next generation of
community builders. I believe in Brockport’s
potential and am committed to making it a
vibrant, welcoming place along the Erie Canal.
